Places of Talemo
When a person asks "where do I write this rule?", the assistant answers with the name of the place as it is on their screen. Each message of a person arrives with a card of places: the sections of the left rail (Today, Messages, Calendar, Contacts, Knowledge, Settings), the parts of Knowledge and the pages of Settings. For each place the card says what it is for.
- Only the places the person can see. A place is listed when the person's rights allow it and the business has what brings it. The Accountant role is not sent to Knowledge, because it does not have it, and the Calendar appears where the salon set is installed.
- The person's language. The names come in the language of the person's screen where Talemo has it, and in English where it does not. Names of people, services, places and the business are written as in the records, without translation.
- Places of the web version. The app has fewer places, and the card says that these are the places of the web version.
- Names of roles follow the industry. What a beauty business calls a master, a place and a device, a fitness business calls a trainer, a studio and a machine, and the assistant uses the words of the business.
What comes with each message
Besides the places, the assistant receives:
- the branch the person has open, with its time zone, and the current moment with the day of the week, so that "on Friday" is counted correctly;
- the person's mode of asking permission;
- the actions it asked about earlier and that still wait for a decision, so it does not ask for the same thing twice;
- the table of contents of the knowledge, when the person may see the knowledge.
What it reads on demand
The data of the business is not copied into the card. The assistant reads records with tools, as a person or a program over MCP would, and the person's rights apply to every read. A tool the person's role does not allow is not offered to the assistant at all, and when asked for it, it says that the role does not allow it.
What it does not remember
The assistant has no memory outside the conversation. What a tool returned in an earlier run is not carried into the next one. It reads the records again. What should stay for clients belongs in the knowledge (see Knowledge entry).
