Industry words and defaults
Names of the roles
The screens say each role with the word of the industry. The role is the same: a person, a place, a piece of equipment.
| Industry | Person | Place | Equipment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beauty | master | place | device |
| Massage, spa and wellness | specialist | room | equipment |
| Sport and fitness | trainer | studio | machine |
| Tattoo | artist | station | equipment |
| One-on-one lessons | teacher | room | instrument |
| Other | specialist | place | equipment |
A business without an industry uses the words of Beauty.
Starting booking rules
The kit writes these into branches that have no booking rules. The user can change them in Booking rules.
| Industry | Booking step | Cleanup by role |
|---|---|---|
| Beauty | 15 minutes | master 10 minutes |
| Massage, spa and wellness | 15 minutes | master 15 minutes |
| Sport and fitness | 30 minutes | device 10 minutes |
| Tattoo | 30 minutes | master 30 minutes |
| One-on-one lessons | 30 minutes | none |
| Other | 15 minutes | none |
Where the industry's values equal the defaults of a branch (15 minutes, no cleanup), nothing is written, so for Other the rules simply stay as they are. Confirming at booking is on and the reminder is 24 hours before for every industry.
Rules of the online admin and starting fields
Every industry starts with the rule: if a client mentions health, how they feel or contraindications, or asks whether something is right for them, the online admin does not advise and hands over to a person. Each industry adds its own rules:
- Beauty — a photo of a design with a question about price (the master names the price); three or more people at once;
- Massage, spa and wellness — two people at the same time; a request for a particular specialist is answered with that specialist's times only;
- Sport and fitness — sessions for a company or a team;
- Tattoo — a client under 18 is not booked; questions about skin and healing; large pieces and cover-ups are booked as a consultation if the price list has one, and otherwise handed over;
- One-on-one lessons — a student under 5; how the student is doing; no promises about exam results;
- Other — only the rule about health.
Each industry except Other also starts with four conversation fields about the request, for example Beauty asks about the service, the preferred time, whether it is the first visit and how the client found the business. A kit never creates a Consultation service: the price list is the business's own.
