# No business yet, and the letter "Create your business"

In Talemo everything lives inside a business: clients, visits, messages, the
assistant. A person who signs in to the app without a business, and without an
invitation, sees the screen **Where shall we start?**. A business is created on the
website; the app has no payment button for it.

## What the screen does

The screen says that the person has no business of their own yet and shows a card:
"We've sent a link to the address. Use it to create your business on the Talemo
website, and it will show up here by itself." The card has no button and no link.

The email is sent when the screen is opened and when the person comes back to the
app. It is not repeated over and over: when it was sent earlier, the card shows
the same words and no new email goes out. The email is not sent to a person who has
a waiting invitation (see below).

## The letter

The subject is **A link to create your business in Talemo**, and the title is
**Create your business**. It says that the person signed in to the Talemo app and
has no business yet, that the button **Open Talemo** opens the website in the
browser, and how to sign in there: the same way as in the app, with Google, with
Apple or with the same email and a code sent to it. After that the business is created (see
[Creating a business](creating-a-business.md)), and when it is ready it shows up
in the app by itself. The letter has no sign-in token in the link. A person who did
not sign in to the app can delete the email.

## When there is an invitation

If someone has invited the person to a team, the screen is titled **Invitation**
(**Invitations** when there are several) and shows cards with **Accept** and
**Decline** instead. **Accept** opens that business at once.
The person creates a business of their own after answering the invitation, so that
a second business does not appear in place of the one they were invited to. After a
decline the screen asks for the letter again (see
[Invitations](../account/invitations.md)).
