# What the kit installs

The Client booking kit has two parts: what it makes available, and what it writes into
the business when it is installed the first time.

## What it makes available

- **Roles of resources**: master, place and device (see
[Resources](../booking/resources.md)). Places and devices do the services of their role at
once, and masters are marked by hand.
- **The ready-made role Master** (by industry: Master, Trainer, Teacher, Artist or
Specialist): the kit names it, but does not make it or give it to anyone. It is
added after the installation or later on **Roles and access** (see
  [Team and roles](../account/team-and-roles.md)).
- **Screens**: the sections of the left panel Calendar, Masters, places and devices
(named by the industry; it holds the card of a resource with its schedule and the
services it does), Services and prices and Catalogs, and in the settings Booking
  rules.
- **The operations and tools** of resources, schedules, services, booking rules,
  visits and the booking page.

## What it writes on the first installation

These become data of the business, which the owner changes on the usual screens:

- **Contact categories** Suppliers, Looking for work and Partners, after the
categories the business already has (see
[Contact categories](../clients/contact-categories.md)). A category the business later
  removes does not come back.
- **Booking rules** of the industry: the step of the grid and the cleanup by role, written
into every branch that has no rules yet (see
[Booking rules](../booking/booking-rules.md)). When the industry's values equal the
defaults of a branch without rules, nothing is written.
- **Starting conversation fields**: what the online admin writes down about a
conversation. Each industry has four, for example Beauty has Service, Preferred
time, First visit and How they found us. The Other industry has none.
- **A starting script** of the online admin: four questions that ask for those
fields, for Beauty "What would you like to book?", "When suits you best?", "Is
this your first visit?" and "How did you hear about us?".
- **Rules of the online admin**, some of which hand the conversation to a person
instead of answering. The rule about health, how a client feels and
contraindications is in every industry, including Other; the rest depend on the
industry (see [Industry words and defaults](industry-words-and-defaults.md)).

The fields, questions and rules are written in the first service language of the
business, if the kit has the words in that language, and in English otherwise. The
kit has words in English and Russian.

## What it does not write

- Services and prices: every price list is the business's own, the kit leaves it empty.
- Resources and schedules.
- A conversation the owner already started: if the business has at least one field or
a script, the kit does not add or replace them.
- Rules that a branch already set.

A business that installed the kit before these starting values existed does not get
them afterwards.

## Who changes it afterwards

The owner edits fields and the script in the online admin settings, booking rules in
**Settings → Booking rules**, categories in Contacts.
