# Contact history

Each card keeps its history, newest first. Every change is written in the same
step as the change itself, so the history cannot miss one.

## What gets a line

- the card was created or changed: name, family name, note, language; if booking a visit for a
  new client created it, "Created the card when booking a visit";
- the category changed, alone or in a batch;
- an address was added, removed or confirmed, or became main;
- reminders, confirmations and cancellation notices were turned off or back on;
- the card's visits, including deleted ones.

Talemo filling in an empty language from the client's first words does not add
a line.

## Who did it

- **a person** of the team, by name;
- **the assistant** at a person's request;
- **a program** acting for a person through a key;
- **a chat**: the card or the address was created by an incoming message;
- **the online admin** — and who approved the action: "The online admin,
  approved by {name}". If that person has left the business, the line keeps
  the fact of approval without the name.

## Hidden fields

Lines about fields a person's role cannot see are not shown to that person
(see [Note and hidden fields](notes-and-hidden-fields.md)).
